Dr. Irvin DeAtley
Dr. Irvin is a native of the Twin Lakes area, growing up on the banks of the White River and graduating from Norfork High School in 1993. He received an Associates of Applied Science in Radiology at North Arkansas College in 1996, where he received the first Mallinckrodt Medical Excellence Award. Dr. DeAtley worked in Radiology at Baxter Regional Medical Center for several years before deciding to continue his education and pursue a degree in Dentistry. He attended the University of Oklahoma and attained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2006.
Dr. Christina DeAtley
Dr. Christina DeAtley is also a native to the area. She was born in Mountain Home and graduated from Cotter High School in 1992. She then attended ASU in Jonesboro, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1996. Dr. Christina then moved to Oklahoma City and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2000. She received the Pediatric Honors award as well. She then completed a year-long residency of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at OU focusing on full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry and dental implant placement and restoration.
Carmen, Registered Dental Hygienist
Carmen, R.D.H. graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Carmen is a recipient of the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for consistently demonstrating clinical excellence and superior patient care. The American Dental Hygienists’ Association nationally recognized Carmen for her 1st place achievement in table clinic research. Shortly after graduation, Carmen joined the DeAtley Dental Care team. Carmen’s positive attitude, compassion, and calm demeanor are what make her an excellent hygienist. She enjoys educating patients to improve their overall oral health and building personal relationships. Carmen is married and has two small children. She is a Veteran and has served 20 years in the Arkansas Army National Guard. She was raised locally and enjoys our beautiful lakes, camping, and decorating.
Sandra, Registered Dental Hygienist
Sandra is proud to be a Twin Lakes area native. She graduated from Cotter High School as Valedictorian of the class of 2004. After marrying her high school sweetheart and starting her family, Sandra decided to return to school to pursue a career in dental hygiene. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2013, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and was granted the esteemed Faculty Gold Key for Academic Excellence. Sandra joined the DeAtley Dental Care team in 2015 and strives to provide compassionate care to her patients. When not working, Sandra enjoys music, being on the river, and spending time with her husband, two beautiful daughters, and their extended family and friends.
Mary Beth, Dental Assistant
Mary Beth relocated to the Mountain Home area in 2006 to be near family and help open the DeAtley Dental Care office! Mary Beth has been a dental assistant since 1983 and is Dr. Irvin’s main chair-side assistant. She attended the McGary Implant Institute alongside Dr. Irvin and helps provide a relaxed, team focused environment when placing surgical implants for our patients. Mary Beth is an exceptional team member and always puts patients’ needs and concerns first. She has one son, whom is married, and a handsome grandson. She enjoys family, warm weather, and is a member at First Baptist Church where she is a volunteer Sunday school teacher.
Bonnie, Registered Dental Hygienist
Bonnie graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the UAMS- Little Rock. Bonnie joined the DeAtley Dental Care team in 2019. Bonnie loves meeting new people and building personal relationships. She enjoys teaching patients the importance of good oral health while giving instruction on homecare that facilitates success. Bonnie is married and has three grown daughters. She has 2 beautiful granddaughters. In her free time Bonnie likes to make quilts, kayak, play with her dogs, and spend time with her grandbabies.
Alissa, Dental Assistant
Alissa has lived most of her life in the Mountain Home area. She joined DeAtley Dental Care as a dental assistant in 2019. Alissa will always greet you with a smile and strive to make your experience as comfortable as possible. She is married and has three daughters. Alissa enjoys cooking, reading, and camping with her family.
Raegan, Office Manager
Raegan was born and raised in Mountain Home. She joined our team as a dental assistant and patient care coordinator in 2013. She became our office manager in 2019. From scheduling appointments to processing insurance claims Raegan strives to make sure you always have a pleasant experience with us. Raegan is married and has two small children. Together they love being outdoors on the lakes and rivers.
